Basketball Game Preview: Corydon Central Panthers vs. Silver Creek Dragons

Corydon Central hasn't had much luck against Silver Creek recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. without much rest having both just played. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Corydon Central comes in on three and Silver Creek on 16.

Corydon Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took down North Harrison 64-47. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 29th, while the Cougars are ranked 191st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Silver Creek's way against Scottsburg on Friday as Silver Creek made off with a 69-48 win.

Silver Creek's victory bumped their record up to 23-2. As for Corydon Central, their win bumped their record up to 19-5.

Corydon Central and Silver Creek were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Corydon Central came up empty-handed after an 80-79 loss. Can Corydon Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
