After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Manteo, First Flight was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors 30-12. The Nighthawks' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Norfolk Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Evan Field rushed for 116 yards and one TD. Isiah Banks got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

First Flight's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Norfolk Christian, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

First Flight didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 75-20 loss against Holmes on the 19th. After each having a week off, Norfolk Christian and Manteo will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. The Redskins' defense has only allowed 14 points per game this season, so the Ambassadors' offense will have their work cut out for them.
