Hardin County is 8-2 against McNairy Central since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will face off against the Bobcats at 6:20 p.m. Hardin County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 16 games.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Hardin County and Adamsville had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Tigers blew past the Cardinals 15-6 on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McNairy Central). Everything went their way against Biggersville on Saturday as they made off with a 16-2 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Hardin County's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for McNairy Central, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-8.

Hardin County beat McNairy Central 6-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Will the Tigers repeat their success, or do the Bobcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
