Georgia Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Thomasville Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The Generals haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Georgia Christian never let Thomasville on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 26-24.

Thomasville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Georgia Christian will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Sherwood Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Thomasville, they are headed away from home for the first time to take on Thomas County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
