Montague is 8-2 against Oakridge since December of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Montague Wildcats will welcome the Oakridge Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Montague lost 53-30 to Ludington on Tuesday. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Orioles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Oakridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 70-33 loss at the hands of Fremont. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 584th, while the Packers are ranked 57th).

Montague's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Oakridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Montague strolled past Oakridge in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 43-27. Will Montague repeat their success, or does Oakridge have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
