Football Recap: Pyramid Lake Comes Up Short

Pyramid Lake won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They came up short against the Carlin Railroaders, falling 54-30. The Lakers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Railroaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.

Leading Carlin to victory were Dylan Ramirez and Leo Krantz. Ramirez gained 147 total yards and four touchdowns, while Krantz rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns.

Pyramid Lake now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Carlin, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Pyramid Lake will venture away from home to challenge Eureka at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carlin, they will welcome Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
