Basketball Recap: Juanita Takes a Loss

Juanita lost against Interlake back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Juanita Ravens took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Interlake Saints.

Interlake's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Didrickson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 boards. Those 15 points gave Didrickson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eric Olteanu, who went 9 of 14 en route to 24 points.

Juanita dropped their record down to 4-9 with the defeat, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Interlake, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-3.

Juanita will be playing in front of their home fans against Cedarcrest at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Juanita is facing Cedarcrest at the right time seeing as Cedarcrest is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Interlake, they will venture away from home to face off against Hazen at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Interlake is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season.
