Butler put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Hirsch Huskies by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Butler was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Butler can attribute much of their success to Jailyn Wilkins, who had four aces and two blocks. That's the most aces Wilkins has posted since back in September of 2024.

Wilkins wasn't the only good servers: Butler was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least 12 aces in three consecutive contests.

Butler's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Hirsch, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Butler didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Golder on the 2nd. As for Hirsch, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Air Force Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 17th.
