Basketball Recap: Guymon Takes a Loss

Guymon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 76-36 defeat at the hands of the El Reno Indians. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 372nd, while the Indians are ranked 14th).

Guymon's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for El Reno, they pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Guymon has already played their next game (against Elgin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. El Reno has also has no score uploaded for their next match, this one against Southeast.
