Volleyball Game Preview: Smoky Hill Buffaloes vs. Cherokee Trail Cougars + How To Watch

Smoky Hill is 0-10 against Cherokee Trail since September of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Buffaloes will host the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Smoky Hill lost 3-0 to Arapahoe on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Cherokee Trail didn't have quite enough to beat Eaglecrest on Tuesday and fell 3-2.

Cherokee Trail actually scored more points across those five sets (110-107), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 22-25, 19-25, 25-23, 16-14.

Smoky Hill will need to focus on slowing down Harper Wilson, one of several Cherokee Trail players who made an impact when they last played. She had eight digs and two aces.

Cherokee Trail's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Smoky Hill, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
