Basketball Recap: Nedrose Comes Up Short

Nedrose lost against South Prairie/Max back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Nedrose Cardinals came up short against South Prairie/Max, falling 67-45. While losing is never fun, the Cardinals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while South Prairie/Max are ranked first).

Nedrose's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for South Prairie/Max, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 20-0.

Looking ahead, Nedrose will be playing in front of their home fans against New Town at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Nedrose is facing New Town at the right time seeing as New Town is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for South Prairie/Max, they will head out to challenge Turtle Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on February 17th.
