Saturday just wasn't the day for Alexandria-Monroe's offense. They came up short against the Mississinewa Indians on Saturday, falling 9-0.

Alexandria-Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Mississinewa, they moved to 4-5 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Alexandria-Monroe will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Blackford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mississinewa, they will welcome Maconaquah at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
