It was a good run, but HomeSchool Resource Center unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Rock River United Bobcats by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago.

Bethany Feddes paced HomeSchool Resource Center's offense, picking up nine kills. Feddes got some help from Olivia Gillies and her 21 assists. Cameron Peccatiello and Maisie Proffitt kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

HomeSchool Resource Center's defeat dropped their record down to 20-10-3. As for Rock River United, their win bumped their record up to 5-1-1.

HomeSchool Resource Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against SWCHA S on the 11th. As for Rock River United, they will be taking part in a tournament against Calumet Christian at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
