Pulaski County has gone 10-0 against Southwestern recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Pulaski County Maroons will venture away from home to face off against the Southwestern Warriors at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Pulaski County took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Somerset 70-46. The Maroons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 24 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Southwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 74-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of McCreary Central. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Pulaski County pushed their record up to 8-6 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Southwestern, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 8-7.

Pulaski County strolled past Southwestern in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 68-53. Will Pulaski County repeat their success, or does Southwestern have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
