Larry Nichols Turns in Season-Best Effort
Bowie was led to victory by Larry Nichols, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Nichols rushed for 95 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 200 yards and a touchdown while completing 73.7% of his passes.
The win (which was Bowie's third in a row) raised their record to 3-3. Nichols' next match is against Arlington on Friday, where he'll look to repeat that solid performance.

Vudrico Roberson's rushing tear continued on Thursday as he dropped his fourth-straight game with 121+ rushing yards dating back to last season. He rushed for 200 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.
On the year, Roberson has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 137.3 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 45 rushing yards per game.
