Softball Recap: Bourgeois Comes Up Short

After flying high against Central Catholic last Thursday, Bourgeois came back down to earth. The Braves fell just short of the South Terrebonne Gators by a score of 8-7 on Friday. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Gators from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Bourgeois now has a losing record of 13-14. As for South Terrebonne, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-10-1 record this season.

Bourgeois didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 defeat against Berwick on the 14th. As for South Terrebonne, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 13-0 win against South Lafourche on the 14th.
