Baseball Recap: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pharr-San Juan-Alamo entered their tilt with Los Fresnos on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Los Fresnos Falcons get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Bears have won by exactly two runs.

Not much got past Jacob Delgadillo, who gave up just a hit to keep Los Fresnos off the board. What's more, Delgadillo gave up only zero earned runs, the fewest he's had over his last three contests.

At the plate, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zeke Garza, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Nyles Alvarez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
