Mackay put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Raft River Trojans with a sharp 59-36 victory. For the Miners, this counts as revenge for the 61-36 win the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2024.

Mackay's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Raft River, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Coming up, Mackay and Nampa will face off at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Miners will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 55 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Raft River, they and Butte County will face off at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Pirates have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
