Football Recap: Twin Valley Takes a Loss

Twin Valley came into this matchup off a tough 28-point defeat two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Bland County Bears by a score of 52-50 on Thursday. Even if the Panthers couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Twin Valley is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Bland County, their win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Twin Valley will venture away from home to square off against Hurley at 7:00 p.m. on November 7. As for Bland County, they will head out to challenge Montcalm at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
