Recap: Milano Eagles vs. Hempstead Bobcats
The Milano Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 47-32 to Hempstead. Milano lost against Hempstead in their previous head to head back in December of 2014, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 61-47 score last time.
Hempstead found their leader in underclassman JaMarion Mickles, who scored 24 points along with 7 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brandon Webb, who scored 7 points along with 6 steals.
Milano has fallen quite a ways from their 21-9 record last season and are now at 1-8. As for Hempstead, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.
Milano will be playing in front of their home fans against Snook at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hempstead's road trip will continue as they head out to face Columbus at 3:30 p.m. on December 9th.
