Valley View lost to Orange Vista on April 8th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Coyotes.

Giselle Morales spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jacqueline Divine, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Maddie Barrios, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

Valley View hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters in 12 consecutive games.

Valley View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Orange Vista, they dropped their record down to 11-8 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road.
