Football Recap: Northern Burlington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Northern Burlington lost against Burlington Township back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Greyhounds fell 27-14 to the Falcons. While losing is never fun, the Greyhounds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey football rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Falcons are ranked 45th).

Brent Walulak threw for 109 yards and a pair of TDs.

Aiden Binns had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 103 yards and two scores for Burlington Township. Binns is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Northern Burlington and nudges their season record down to 5-3. As for Burlington Township, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Northern Burlington will face off against rival Haddon Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Burlington Township is set to take on their familiar foe Cinnaminson at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
