Basketball Game Preview: Trumann Wildcats vs. Rivercrest Colts

After both having extra time off, the Trumann Wildcats and the Rivercrest Colts will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Trumann will be strutting in after a win while Rivercrest will be coming in after a defeat.

Having struggled with ten losses in a row dating back to last season, Trumann turned things around against Corning last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past 63-61. The Wildcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Rivercrest lost 60-36 to Manila last Friday. The Colts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Trumann's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Rivercrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
