Baseball Recap: Colton Comes Up Short

If Colton was riding high fresh off their 12-6 takedown of Scio last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Vikings came up short against the St. Paul Buckaroos on Tuesday, falling 13-5. The contest marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Malachi Jensen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one double. Jamison Mcgill Mcgill was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Colton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for St. Paul, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.
