Baseball Recap: Fork Union Military Academy Takes a Loss

Fork Union Military Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 14-5 to the Prince Edward County Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-4 last Tuesday.

Fork Union Military Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Prince Edward County, their record now sits at 2-0.

Coming up, Fork Union Military Academy will challenge Blue Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Blue Ridge has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14 runs per game on average), something Fork Union Military Academy will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Prince Edward County, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against William Campbell at 6:00 p.m. on April 7.
