Dakota Prairie extends road losing streak to eight

Recap: Dakota Prairie Knights vs. Richland Colts
The Dakota Prairie Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Richland.
Richland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Levi Ulven out in front who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Mjoness, who scored 16 points along with three steals.
Dakota Prairie bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Richland, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dakota Prairie will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Midway/Minto at 7:45 p.m. on January 11, 2024. Richland will be home for the holidays to greet Sisseton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
