Basketball Game Preview: Byron Nelson Bobcat vs. Keller Central Chargers

The Byron Nelson Bobcat will head out to take on the Keller Central Chargers at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Byron Nelson is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.

Last Friday, Byron Nelson didn't have too much trouble with Bell as they won 39-24. Given the Bobcat's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while the Blue Raiders are ranked 220th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Keller Central had to suffer through a 57-22 loss at the hands of Southlake Carroll. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Byron Nelson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points per game. As for Keller Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-21.

Everything came up roses for Byron Nelson against Keller Central in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 78-31 win. In that contest, Byron Nelson amassed a halftime lead of 47-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
