Softball Recap: Lakes Lancers vs. North Thurston Rams
Lakes had lost 13 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 0-17 to make it 14. They lost 18-1 to the North Thurston Rams. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Lancers couldn't push the score so high this time.
As for North Thurston, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-7. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won nine games by ten runs or more so far this season.
For North Thurston's part, they got a massive performance out of Isabella Haagen, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That's the most stolen bases Haagen has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Paige Guyer, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Lakes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Thurston, they will welcome Mount Tahoma at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
