Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Mary). Everything went their way against the North Valley Knights on Saturday as they made off with a 9-2 win. St. Mary's might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven contests by three goals or more this season.

The victory (which was St. Mary's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 42 goals over those six matches. As for North Valley, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. St. Mary's is set to take on their familiar foe Rogue River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, North Valley will square off against rival Brookings-Harbor at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
