Basketball Recap: Mohave Takes a Loss

Mohave was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mesquite Wildcats, falling 62-40.

Mesquite's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kobe Bradley, who posted 15 points and six boards. What's more, Bradley also racked up three assists, the most he's had since back in January. Another player making a difference was Taj Deloney, who put up nine points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.

Mohave's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Mesquite, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Mohave will take on Bradshaw Mountain in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesquite and Westview will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Mesquite is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.7 points per game this season.
