Soccer Game Preview: Marshall County vs. Lawrence County

The Marshall County Tigers will head out to challenge the Lawrence County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Marshall County's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

It was a proper cat-fight when Marshall County took on Giles County on Tuesday. The Tigers and the Bobcats finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw. The result kept Marshall County happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Meanwhile, Lawrence County unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central Magnet.

Marshall County's draw makes their record 8-0-1 this season. As for Lawrence County, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.

Marshall County couldn't quite get it done against Lawrence County in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
