Suwannee took a 11-run loss the last time they faced off against Lowndes, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vikings 5-4. Winning may never get old, but the Bulldogs sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Grayson Greene looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Jace Moran was excellent, scoring two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Suwannee pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Lowndes, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-10.

Suwannee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lowndes, they will square off against Valdosta at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
