Volleyball Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton entered their match against Newnan on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Trojans fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2020.

Carrollton's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Newnan, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Carrollton will be playing at home against Pepperell at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newnan, they will take on Bremen at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
