Volleyball Game Preview: Northview Wildcats vs. South Christian Sailors + How To Watch

Northview is on a ten-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while South Christian is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wildcats will face off against the Sailors at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

On Monday, Northview made easy work of Union and carried off a 3-0 win.

Meanwhile, South Christian got the win against Union on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant South Christian was: they took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-3, 25-9, 25-7.

Northview better focus on containing Meg Schreur and Maddy DeVries as the pair were huge in South Christian's win. Schreur had five digs and five aces, while DeVries had three digs and three aces. That's the most aces DeVries has posted over her last ten matches.

South Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 23 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

South Christian's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 18-16.

Northview couldn't quite get it done against South Christian in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Schreur, who had 25 digs and four aces. Now that the Wildcats know the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time?
