Baseball Game Preview: Moravian Academy Lions vs. Lehighton Indians

The Moravian Academy Lions will venture away from home to square off against the Lehighton Indians at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Moravian Academy is looking for their season's first win.

Friday just wasn't the day for Moravian Academy's offense. They lost 9-0 to Palisades on Friday.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Lehighton finally came back down to earth on Friday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tamaqua. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Indians were not able to get on the board.

Lehighton got a good showing from Brady Stubits, who didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Stubits has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Moravian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lehighton, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.
