Big game from Messenger as Concord won 4-3
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Saturday Braedon Messenger stepped things up a notch to give Concord the 'W'. Penn had no answer to Messenger as he pitched seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off ten hits.
Messenger and Concord will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Goshen at 11:00 a.m. Concord has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
