Baseball Recap: Tranquillity Takes a Loss

Tranquillity fell victim to Liberty and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 15-0 to the Hawks. The Tigers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Tranquillity saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jordan Vallejo, who went 1-for-3 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Vallejo has hit this season.

Tranquillity's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Liberty, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

Looking ahead, Tranquillity will head out on the road to face off against Avenal at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers are facing the Buccaneers at the right time seeing as the Buccaneers are stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Liberty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Minarets at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hawks will also cruise into their next match with the timing on their side: the Mustangs will have lost three straight heading into Friday's game.
