Soccer Recap: Lakeview Centennial Takes a Loss

Lakeview Centennial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 5-0 to the Garland Owls. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Owls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in February.

Lakeview Centennial's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17-1. As for Garland, they pushed their record up to 10-8-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Lakeview Centennial will venture away from home to square off against Wylie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview Centennial has given up an average of 3.6 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Garland, they will host Wylie East at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
