Soccer Recap: Edgewater Comes Up Short

Edgewater lost against Winter Park back in January of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. 2025 welcomed the Edgewater Eagles with a 5-1 loss courtesy of the Winter Park Wildcats. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Aiden Suguene, who's now up to 11 this season.

Edgewater now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Winter Park, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-7-3 record this season.

Edgewater didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Boone on the 8th. As for Winter Park, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lake Buena Vista on the 8th.
