Corinth came tearing into Thursday's matchup with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Oxford Chargers get on the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 contests by six runs or more this season.

Corinth pushed their record up to 19-8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Oxford, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-12.

Corinth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Oxford, they will host Pontotoc at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
