The Pingry School waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They never let the Phillipsburg Stateliners get on the board and left with an 8-0 win. That's two games straight that the Big Blue have won by exactly eight runs.

The Pingry School pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Phillipsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

The Pingry School will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Stateliners: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
