Softball Recap: Havana Drops Highest Score of Season Against Bushnell-Prairie City

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Havana). They blew past the Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans 16-1 on Monday. The victory was nothing new for the Ducks as they're now sitting on three straight.

Kaydi Miller was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Aselyn Nehmelman, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Havana kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bushnell-Prairie City only managed one hit.

Havana's win bumped their record up to 11-1-1. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they are on a 32-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Coming up, Havana will take on Peoria Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bushnell-Prairie City, they will face off against Hamilton/Warsaw at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
