Maywood CES not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 4th (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Foshay Wolverines as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Wolfpack as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

While Maywood CES won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 27-25.

Maywood CES' win bumped their record up to 12-14. As for Foshay, they moved to 12-4 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Maywood CES is on the road again on Wednesday to play Maywood Academy at 3:00 p.m. The last four games the Nighthawks have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Foshay, they will challenge Fremont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pathfinders will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Wolverines surely won't give up without a fight.
