Football Recap: Punahou Falls Short Against Ranked Kamehameha Kapalama

Punahou faced Kamehameha Kapalama in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Buff n' Blue received a blow as they fell 24-10 to the Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 37-7 back in September.

Punahou has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Kamehameha Kapalama, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Punahou will venture away from home to challenge St. Louis at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Crusaders will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. Kamehameha Kapalama does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
