Highland Park had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Wakeland Wolverines, posting a 47-20 victory. Considering the Scots have won nine contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Harrison Cullum was the offensive standout of the matchup as he picked up 126 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 126 receiving yards gave him a new career-high.

Highland Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ronan Moreland and Dean Dulin.

Grayson Myer and Jayden Maples certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Myer picked up 166 receiving yards and a pair of TDs, while Maples threw for 320 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.7 yards per attempt. Maples has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
