It was a good run, but Woodland unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Northview Titans.

When it comes to explaining why Woodland lost, don't look at Toni Benefield. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and four aces. Benefield has been hot recently, having posted four or more aces the last three times she's played.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Woodland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Fellowship Christian on the 16th. As for Northview, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 0-0 victory against Cedar Grove on the 16th.
