Soccer Game Preview: Cook vs. Bainbridge

Cook hasn't had much luck against Bainbridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cook Hornets will square off against the Bainbridge Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Cook's offense. They lost 5-0 to Brooks County on Tuesday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Bainbridge unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Colquitt County by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday.

Cook came up short against Bainbridge when the teams last played back in April of 2021, falling 2-0. Can Cook avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
