If Colorado was feeling good fresh off their 9-0 takedown of Forsan last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Colorado fell just short of the Alpine Bucks by a score of 6-5 on Friday. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Alyssa Wooddell made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-3. Bryanna Munoz was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Colorado's loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Alpine, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-14.

Looking ahead, Colorado is taking a road trip to take on Sonora at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Colorado's pitchers better be ready for this one: Sonora has averaged an impressive 9.1 runs per game this season.
