Baseball Recap: Bonanza Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Bonanza had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Spring Valley Grizzlies by a score of 12-7 on Tuesday. With that win, the Bengals brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Darren McGee was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with two triples, three runs, and two RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high. Dillon Owens was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three runs and three RBI.

Bonanza was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Bonanza's victory bumped their record up to 4-7-2. As for Spring Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6-1.
