Baseball Recap: Tidehaven Tigers vs. Marion Bulldogs

Tidehaven extended their postseason success on Friday against Marion. They put the hurt on the Marion Bulldogs with a sharp 11-5 victory. With that win, Tidehaven brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

CHRISTIAN RUBIO was incredible, getting on base in all five of his plate appearances with a home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of RICKY RUBIO, who scored two runs while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances.

Tidehaven has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-12 record this season. As for Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6-1.
